Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
By attending and participating in this farm tour, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk: I understand that this tour takes place on a working farm, where inherent risks are present. These risks include, but are not limited to, uneven ground, exposure to farm equipment, livestock, weather conditions, and other activities associated with agricultural operations. I acknowledge that participation in this event carries the possibility of injury, property damage, or other harm, and I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation.
Release of Liability: I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns, and representatives, agree to hold harmless and release The Pacific Northwest Farm Direct Marketing, NW Agritourism Association, and its members, board of directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, or causes of action, whether known or unknown, arising from or related to my participation in this event, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss.
Understanding of Farm Hazards: I acknowledge that a working farm includes various unpredictable hazards, including but not limited to moving machinery, active farm work, animal behavior, and natural terrain. I accept full responsibility for my own safety and the safety of any minors under my supervision while on the premises.
Compliance with Farm Rules: I agree to follow all safety guidelines, instructions, and rules provided by event organizers and farm staff to ensure a safe experience for myself and others.
Binding Agreement: I certify that I have read and understand this Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver. My participation in this tour serves as my acknowledgment of and agreement to the terms stated above.
